Maria, together with Nacho, have a flock of 100 ripolleses sheep, 20 rasquera goats and some other breeds, which graze daily in one of the large farms of the upper Garrotxa, in the Bac Valley. The presence of their livestock serves to maintain open spaces identified as safe areas for firefighters, while making a control of vegetation fuel in different forests of the valley.
