On 11th April 2019, a technical meeting on measures to support silvopastoralism and fire management was held in Girona.
The cases of Catalonia, Madrid, Andalusia, Easter Pyrenees, Gard-Hérault, Aragon and Valencia were presented among an audience of experts and technical staff reflecting different approaches to the subject. The Fire Flocks team explained the project as an innovative example for the prevention of forest fires with extensive livestock and commercialization of value-added products. Fire Flocks offered food in a catering designed by the Guild of Butchers and Artisan Charcuteries of Girona with products 100% Flocks of Fire.
