{"id":2089,"date":"2023-06-07T09:47:10","date_gmt":"2023-06-07T07:47:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ramatsdefoc.org\/?p=2089"},"modified":"2023-06-07T15:46:02","modified_gmt":"2023-06-07T13:46:02","slug":"round-up-campaign-for-fire-flocks","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ramatsdefoc.org\/en\/round-up-campaign-for-fire-flocks\/","title":{"rendered":"Round-up campaign for &#8220;Fire Flocks&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonpreuesclat.cat\/es\/home\">Bonpreu and Esclat<\/a> supermarkets have selected the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ramatsdefoc.org\/en\/\">&#8220;Ramats de Foc&#8221; (Fire Flocks)<\/a> project as a beneficiary entity in their 2023 social calendar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the month of June, customers of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonpreuesclat.cat\/es\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bonpreu and Esclat<\/a> supermarkets will have the opportunity to round up their credit card payments and thus  make a donation to the &#8220;Fire Flocks&#8221; project aimed at wildfire risk management through forest grazing. A total funding of \u20ac50,000 is envisaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/ramatsdefoc.org\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Fire Flocks&#8221;<\/a> will use the money collected to carry out preliminary forestry work to promote grazing with herds; the introduction of herds in forest areas with the aim of controlling the undergrowth; the installation of fences in the boundary areas of the project; the establishment of drinking troughs for the herds, and the design and installation of informative posters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This donation is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bonpreuesclat.cat\/es\/arrodoniment-solidari\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&#8220;Round-up&#8221;<\/a> initiative by <a href=\"http:\/\/bonpreuesclat.cat\/es\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bonpreu and Esclat<\/a> supermarkets and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldcoo.com\/\">Worldcoo<\/a>, for voluntarily round-up of payments to benefit organisations working in different social causes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More about the the campaign on the Bonpreu and Esclat <a href=\"https:\/\/bonpreu.worldcoo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a>.
