Pasturabosc is a small family goat farm in Gaüses, Vilopriu, Baix Empordà that began in 2012 with the aim of grazing forests for landscape management and fire risk management, and expanded in 2020 with the creation of an artisanal cheese factory. The goats, of the Florida breed, feed on the pastures and forage of our fields and the biomass of the undergrowth around Gaüses. The agriculture we practice is based on the guidelines of organic production, including direct sowing, crop rotation and rational grazing and management of these lands with the herd. In addition to the goat meat that we sell directly from our farm, we also make cheeses and yogurts. All of the cheeses are made from raw, organic milk. We sell our milk, cheese and goat production through direct sales and in other small establishments in the area and it is all certified organic by the Council for Ecological Agricultural Production (CCPAE).
